PRIME Cymru assisted Marianne Merrick in all the stages of setting up her business in a beautiful spot on the Gower.

In her early 60s Marianne had an idea for a business and turned to PRIME Cymru for help in making it a reality.

Marianne now makes hand crafted jewellery from beads which she sells in her shop situated in the little village of Southgate on the Gower.

She has an amazing array of beads including Semi-precious beads, crystal, glass, ceramic and pearl as well as Japanese and Czech seed beads, and will make specially designed individual items to order.

She also sells all the equipment and beads for individuals to buy to make their own jewellery and she runs classes to help them.

She has set up a special children’s corner where she shows children how to create their own designs.
