Workways+ Powys has widened its remit to include mature people, who are either long term unemployed (12 months plus) or economically inactive. Workways+ Powys will continue to provide free one to one support and guidance from dedicated staff to help participants take the first steps towards finding employment, relevant volunteering or training opportunities or setting up in business.
We can offer a range of services to people taking part including: FREE 1-2-1 support to gain confidence and increase motivation, basic computer skills, how to create a good C.V., interview techniques and employability skills, support to move into volunteering or further learning/education, and self-employment mentoring to set up a new business.
The Workways+ Powys project is being delivered by Powys County Council and PRIME Cymru, and has been supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government, to help improve the lives of people and communities in Wales by raising skills and helping people into work.
