PRIME Cymru is proud to have been awarded the
Investing in Volunteers (IiV) standard.
The accreditation recognises good practice in volunteer management and aims to strengthen an organisation’s reputation to encourage more people to volunteer.
The award demonstrates that PRIME Cymru values the enormous contribution made by our Volunteer Mentors. We hope to attract more volunteers to support even more people aged 50+ across Wales into work or to set up a business.
Mentoring Programme Manager, Beverley Kennett, said: “We are thrilled to have achieved the Investing in Volunteers standard, as recognition for the great work and commitment PRIME Cymru has put into the Volunteer Mentor Programme over the years.
“We hope this will show any prospective Mentors that we can provide an outstanding volunteer experience, in line with top UK standards.”
The Chair of the awarding body, UKVF, said: “UKVF is delighted to announce PRIME Cymru’s successful achievement of this award. They have demonstrated a real commitment to volunteering and proven that their volunteer management policies and procedures meet nationally recognised standards.”
