PRIME Cymru welcomes Stephen Kinnock as ambassador

We’re proud to announce that Stephen Kinnock, Secretary of State for Wales and MP for Aberafan Maesteg, has become an Ambassador for PRIME Cymru.  

Stephen joins us in championing the value, skills and experience that people aged 50+ bring to workplaces and communities across Wales. 

In a special video message, Stephen shares why he believes age is just a number and celebrates the incredible contribution older people continue to make every day. He highlights the importance of creating meaningful opportunities for people over 50, recognising that experience, knowledge and resilience are invaluable assets in the world of work. 

At PRIME Cymru, we believe that nobody should be overlooked because of their age. Our mission is to support people aged 50+ to access employment, training, self-employment and new opportunities, helping individuals build confidence and continue thriving in their careers. 

We’re delighted to have Stephen’s support as an Ambassador and look forward to working together to promote a more inclusive Wales where age is recognised as a strength, not a barrier.
