Brian Wheeler, whose love and talent for landscape painting has produced a business selling to clients as far away as Australia.

Born in Nantyglo, Brian has lived in the area of Blaenau Gwent all his life. When he took early retirement from his role as a college accountancy lecturer he found he had time to devote to his great love of painting.

He is an accomplished artist specialising in landscapes and local scenes especially buildings of historical interest, and he began selling his paintings at local art fairs and exhibitions.

Brian realised in order to market his paintings he needed to get advice on business planning and was particularly interested in exploring the use of an on-line gallery so he sought advice from PRIME Cymru who provided him with an advisor giving him individually tailored support.

Demand for his paintings has increased significantly and much of his work is now owned by private patrons in countries including Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Ireland, England and of course Wales.

Brian has also gone on to become the tutor of a local art group who meet on a weekly basis.
